“THE NAUTILUS” Animation submission for Graphic Festival Competition, 2012
‘The Nautilus’ was a short 2D / 3D animation created specifically as an entry to the Sydney Opera House GRAPHIC Festival 2012.
I had Just graduated University in 2012 and wanted to test out my project management and collaboration skills.
I gathered together friends of mine who specialised in, animation, music and storytelling and over the course of 3 months we put together the Nautilus, building it from scratch – character concept, story and sound track all created by us.
We did not win but did get a positive letter from Baz Luhrmann’s office saying the team enjoyed our “Romeo and Juliette” Fish tank scene.
